01 /Context
At the Geneva International Motor Show, Microsoft and Visit Qatar presented an XR experience built on HoloLens 2: visitors manipulated a life-sized virtual F1 car and competed in a virtual driving experience with an Xbox controller, all themed around Qatar tourism. My piece was a separate web frontend — shown on a screen at the stand — that surfaced the results of that competition.
02 /My role
I built the standalone frontend that displayed the race results on a screen at the event — the surface that turned the competitive driving into a live, readable leaderboard for attendees. It had to stay legible and reliable in a busy, live event environment.
03 /Technical highlights
- Standalone web frontend displaying live race results on a screen at the event.
- Companion to a Microsoft + Visit Qatar XR / HoloLens 2 experience.
- Built to stay legible and reliable under live-event conditions.
